Full Revamp
- Do not treat the king like a normal king — it moves long-range but still cannot enter check.
- Undervalue the queen; rooks and coordinated minors often matter more.
- Pawns capture forward — watch for surprise captures and pawn chains.
- Promotion to rook is usually stronger than queen in this mode.
- Trap the king by controlling escape squares, not just delivering checks.
Pawn War
Standard king and queen, but pawns fight differently. Forward captures change pawn structure — calculate pawn breaks carefully and aim for promotion races.
Royal Rush & Crown Hunt
Both feature a queen-powered king. Plan safety early — there is no castling. In Crown Hunt, queens are gone from the start, so open lines toward the enemy king are even more dangerous.
Fortress Kings
The queen moves one square. Play positionally: coordinate rooks and minors, use the queen for defense, and do not overcommit it.
Tactical Lite
Closest to standard chess. Familiar opening principles apply — control the center, develop pieces, and protect the king without relying on castling.
