How to Play
Start a game in Match Setup: mode, variant, time, opponent, side — then play. No account required.
1 · Pick a variant
New players should start with Full Revamp (marked “Best first mode”). Other modes include Tactical Lite for familiar chess, Pawn War for pawn-focused tactics, and royal modes like Royal Rush and Crown Hunt.
2 · Set time & side
Pick a time control chip (Bullet, Blitz, Rapid, or Daily), then press Play White, Play Black, or Random. The board appears immediately; the clock starts once a side is selected.
3 · Choose opponent (vs AI)
Select a bot opponent — from Rookie Rami to Chaos Kai. Premium bots are labeled coming soon and are not playable yet.
4 · Play
Tap or click a piece, then tap a highlighted square to move. Switch to Local 2P for same-device play. The Beginner Coach panel beside the board gives free variant tips. Use Undo or Restart anytime.
Piece names in your language
In Match Setup, use the Piece names row to switch real chess terminology — e.g. Turkish Şah, Vezir, Kale, Fil, At, Piyon; Spanish Rey, Dama, Torre, Alfil, Caballo, Peón; Russian Король, Ферзь, Ладья, Слон, Конь, Пешка; Chinese 王, 后, 车, 象, 马, 兵. Board icons stay the same; only labels in rules and move history change.

- Time control — visible chips in Match Setup (Bullet through Daily).
- Piece names — 18 languages in Match Setup; English default.
- Sound & board theme — under Display settings.
- Beginner Coach — free tips beside the board; premium coaches planned.
- Game review — one basic local review per day after AI games.
